In the first week of this course we learned about teaching portfolios and then searched the web for examples. I put together a list of five examples and descriptions of each for the class discussion board. My favorite one of the five was Mr. Benjamin Blonder's website (http://www.sourcecod.com/portfolio/). I found it interesting to read and view and the information that he passed was helpful in formulating my own thoughts on what a portfolio may entail. I also ran across several websites that gave helpful hints on this subject.
In the group meeting, we discussed several of the links that were posted by our classmates. I think that we all agreed that the most useful one for us (as well as the most easily accessible and best format) was one from a previous offering of this course! I liked the set-up and look of this example (https://sites.google.com/a/wolfmail.stritch.edu/nick-havlik-s-masters-portfolio/nets-standard-4).
My only gripe with this course thus far is that the blogging date snuck up on me! I sent an Email with my concerns about incorrect due dates but found updated information on the matter after the due date.
