- I can relate the examples of online learning to my own experience in the following way the Coast Guard uses online learning (though not interactively) to assist with maintaining mandated/refresher training and conduct pre-course evaluation of an individual's knowledge. However, I don't consider these things to be web 2.0 in nature in that they are static learning programs that don't feature any sort of feedback or discussion.
- These are some problems I had navigating the course management system and utilizing the discussion boards, can you help me with. . . not your fault, apparently my mind didn't put "check-up" together with blogging and I messed the whole thing up! Late!
- I can imagine using Elluminate Live! for a web conference in order to conduct group meetings. As the VRoom offshoot of Elluminate is my favorite word, free!, I can imagine using it to set up classroom groups for either in-class moderated collaborative work or after class time homework projects.
- I tried something new while working on this module and it made me think that . . . I don't really know what to say for this one! Everything in the module worked fine and seemed to be straight-forward... even though I still manage to botch an assignment or two!
